Do high schools actually require geometry? When I was in school, you needed 2 years of math. Geometry was required for college-bound students, but the non-college bound students were usually still struggling with basic math and would go to geometry homework help services, for which they got credit toward graduation.

It is actually not unusual for me to wish I remembered more of what I learned about spatial relationships in high school geometry. And I use the skills developed in algebra every day as a computer programmer. Foreign language instruction is ineffective because we leave it too late; it should be started in elementary school.
