Generally a virtual assistant, who is self-employed professional administrative gives creative social assistant to consumer from and home office. Although a virtual assistant is self –liberated and consumers is not responsible for any types of taxes and benefits. Rather those types of indirect expenses are included VA fees. The consumers are also free from any types of office spaces and equipments. The clients are only responsible for their productive work. However they can also co-operate with virtual assistants individually or in a multi-way firm to give a conclusion to their expected needs. A virtual assistant can work for both small firms and can be very supportive to busy executives.

Therefore, a virtual assistant needed to be managed by someone so that he does not make any mistakes and bring a bad name to the firm. Here are some important features to follow so that one can manage a virtual assistant.

Day to day communication: Essentially, a virtual assistant require a good communication with the firm he is working. He should have a high standard communication with the commander he is working with. Moreover, he needs to have a quality transmission in both speaking and writing or can use virtual methods such as Skype, Goggle voice chat etc.

Describe expectations: One thing is very important that a captain should define his expectations to the VA. He should be given detailed job description. If the directions to the VA is not well-defined then the VA may end up the wrong way.

Keep all files: A contract should be made that the VA have to keep all his files in a Drop-box or Goggle Drive so that if he resigns from the job the firm may have a copy of the day to day works. This will also be helpful for the newly appointed employee.

Communicate via messages: A VA who recently joined he may not be a good English communicator so the firm should have a rules and regulations to communicate with instant messages. However there may be chance for the hackers to reveal your secret messages to elsewhere. That’s why a manager need to use a very trustworthy messenger system.

Don’t allow email in-boxing: It will be very disturbing that an employee would send email for their daily works and your in-box may be full with day to day inborn messages. Ask your VA to communicate with you with instant messenger rather then mailing you.

Smart project goals: A VA should set a smart goals every time when they take a new project. If the project is very important then the captain should choose the most experienced employee for the task. It will not be smart move if the team leader gives the charge of an important task to a someone who is just a learner.

Overall, A VA should be managed in a smart way where he will be comfortable and will be able to show his productivity. On that point a VA should be given roam to explore his creativity and professionalism. That is how VA should be managed
